Fossilized peanut wood is
a unique variety of fossilized conifer driftwood featuring distinctive, peanut-shaped white or cream markings set against a dark brown or black background.
It is found almost exclusively in the Windalia Radiolarite formation along the Kennedy Ranges and Mooka Station near Carnarvon in Western Australia.
